I think you guys are taking alans rant too seriously!

I don’t think he’s trying to “address the issues at hand” or join the “current debate” he just wrote a funny abuse at a girl who, lets be honest needs to be abused! why are you trying to intellectise it?!

I agree alan’s probably been a little harsher than i’d have been but sod it its his opinion not yours.

While one sympathises for Alan having to serve tea for douchebags such as Alex James, this “article” is nothing but a succession of ad hominems that do not rebut Lily’s arguements or address the issue at hand.

Even if I, Joseph Stalin, posted a blog against filesharing, Alan would have to engage with my arguments rather than just point out what an evil person I am. As it is, the premise of the article is a logical fallacy.

Very poor… Alan is far too bitter, and misguided. His venom says much about him and little about the current debate.

If you want to hit out at someone… aim at a label. They are the ones perpetuating the problem. A&R teams need to grow some balls.

Alan needs to have a lie down… or seek professional help.
