When Cougar Microbes favourites Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros released their stripped 2012 sophomore album ‘Here‘ there were rumours already that album #3 was ready to go and would soon follow. We’ve had to wait longer than expected but Alex Ebert and co. will return in July with a new self-titled album.
The Magnetic Zeros live show is a unique experience akin to a spiritual occasion which is why I’m not at all surprised that the ten piece has played virtually every major festival and city in the past couple of years. On August 4th they’re due to headline the legendary Hollywood Bowl for a special hometown performance that promises to be incredible.
