Just like that The xx unveiled the video for their latest single from last year’s intimate ‘Coexist‘ album. “Fiction” was shot on the road in Palm Springs during the band’s recent US stint and directed by Young Replicant.
The band is keeping themselves busy this summer with scheduled performances at Glastonbury, an 18-date residency at Manchester International in July as well as taking their Night + Day shows to London and Los Angeles.
Naturally, there are also a bunch of valiant remix efforts to go with the single.
“Fiction” is out on July 16 on Young Turks.
