To indie rock fans Iris Campo may be familiar as a founding member and drummer of Canadian outfit Roads. The Spanish-born artist has stepped out from behind the kit, dropped her surname and taken center stage on her solo outing.
“Follow Me“, the second single from IRIS‘ upcoming debut EP, glides effortlessly from dream-pop layered verses to formidable choruses, a blitz of synths and melodies that comes across like Imogen Heap dueling with Chairlift.
If that wasn’t enough the accompanying video is a real cinematic mini epic that adds a compelling visual to what is already a ridiculously good track.
