Late Cambrian are rapidly becoming one of our favourite artists here at Cougar HQ. Our summer was characterized by their saccharine sweet “Yearbook Photo“ and the cool groove of “Thank You For Your Time“ and with their newest single we find the Brooklynites in top form yet again.
“Hot Minute” is a dreamy affair that soothes like new satin sheets and holds you like a warm morning embrace. The track gradually awakes with an almighty vocal hook that swirls out of the speakers offering a divine melodic crescendo that climaxes with the arrival of the chorus.
With the end of the summer literally round the corner Late Cambrian have found a way to prolong the feeling. I’ve been humming this one from the moment I’ve heard it and it’s time it got stuck in your head too!
