For many artists, an appearance on a reality TV show can often be followed by a difficult adjustment period. Not so, it would seem, for Emily Keener who after rising to the final 12 stages of the 10th season of The Voice catapulted herself straight into the studio at Waveburner Recording to record the tracks that would make her ‘Breakfast‘ album.
Still only 17, what is immediately remarkable about Emily‘s music is how much personality transpires through each note. Take recent single “Light & Sound” which is undeniably pop yet possesses more than a few quirks and tricks to keep you second guessing.
