I wouldn’t say that Action Bronson is exactly a household name in 2022 but at the same time, the fact he’s still releasing music that sounds like him is oddly reassuring. Going from being a bonafide rap underground hero to someone who will always be able to say he had a part, albeit small, in a Scorsese movie is no mean feat but best still, he always seems to be enjoying himself.
“SubZero” is the first single from the upcoming ‘Cocodrillo Turbo‘ album and comes with a suitably ridiculous and on-brand music video and a laidback jazzy beat that is ideal for his delivery.
I fully expect there to be at least 1000 food puns on the album but in the meantime, I’m glad to say Action Bronson continues to confound and bring a smile to my face.
