London three piece Stages Of Dan recently dropped this fine piece of guerilla filming in the Cougar inbox. Filmed incognito in a sushi conveyor belt restaurant with no actors or permission the video is a perfect companion for the fun track.
I especially like the part where the camera rolls into the kitchen area, good stuff lads!
The single ‘Gary‘ as well as it’s b-side cover of 90′s cheese anthem ‘What Is Love‘ drop at the start of November via DTR Records.
Legendary Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O has a very special place in my Cougar heart so when I found out she has taken on the Jackass theme tune I knew I was going to love it.
Her version of ‘If You’re Gonna Be Dumb, You Gotta Be Tough‘ sounds like it wouldnt be out of place on the next Karen O and The Kids outing and the fun feeling that ecompases the recording is positively infectious.
For most of us Levi‘s is a name synonymous with blue jeans and a cowboy swagger but it seems the denim kings are keen to weave their way into the music community (yet again).
The results are interesting and its great to see where these recognised acts took their inspiration from. Check out their website to get all these ace tracks and check out for the weekly updates.
Band of Horses epic break-up symphony “No One’s Gonna Love You” has rocked a lot of iPod‘s since its release in 2007. After 3 years, one listener decided to take the track to the next level. Thankfully for humanity, that auditory scientist was Cee Lo Green of Goodie Mob & Gnarls Barkley fame.
He has insanely popified the track with his ultra-unique vocals and uplifting whilst simultaneously depressing hip-hop electronica. For this task he has undertaken, I am very pleased.
Oh yes, and the Video is beyond incredible.

Biffy Clyro‘s cover of RATM anthem ‘Killing In The Name‘ certainly raised some eyebrows when I spun it on the office stereo this week. That is not necessarily a bad thing.
