As a bonus video here is a little something that took my fancy this weekend. To the soothing notes of Thievery Corporation‘s brilliant ‘Marching The Hate Machines (Into The Sun)‘ performer Ross Gardiner denounces the ugly truths we’ve all heard about the Facebook phenomenon.
The whole thing is a little self indulgent, perhaps, but does hit on some interesting points. Ultimately the video is pulled off with sufficient elegance and self mocking to deliver the message without being alienating the web 2.0 generation.
It is ironic that he references people viewing the video itself on Facebook as that is the first place everyone is going to share this.
