Maury111 – “Solare”
“Solare” just like its name feels like the flares of the sun being revealed bit by bit. This alternative-electronic pop song from Maury111, a “mysticosmic” pop project by French musician Benjamin Ruby, is a part of the album Eclosion. The track travels through several different personalities.
Opening with warped vocals and a rumbling bass, “Solare” has a dystopian vibe which further builds when syncopated beats and mechanical synths enter. Then, it shifts towards ominous keys and haunting choral harmonies before peaking at a dubstep influenced pulse. Finally, it leads into a minimalist piano outro, like the embers of the solar flare burning out.
Bardxm – “Abstract #1”
If any song can soundtrack the feeling of discovering a magical new forest, it’s “Abstract #” – the standout song from Bardxm’s debut album Night Chorus. Bardxm is a producer that crafts incredibly immersive, cinematic soundscapes and here he injects the ambient electronic piece with a sense of wonder.
“Abstract #” starts off with glistening piano notes accompanied by old record scratch sounds that blossom into a melody with lush strings. It evokes the wonder of discovering a new world. It further blooms with ethereal production, adding glitchy, shimmering synths. When an unexpected electronic buzz joins the mix, it never distracts and only emphasises the otherworldly song by Bardxm.

Wilbur Nova – “Hypnagogia”
You don’t even need to know the exact meaning of Wilbur Nova’s song “Hypnagogia” – just listening will give you the exact idea. Fueled by his day-job monotony, Nova wants to make music that moves and he delivers way more than that. The track is chaos personified.
What begins as an uneasy electronic pulse with a haunting melody and whispers morphs into a dark surge of creepy strings and shrill whistles. It feels like a terrifying sleep paralysis demon, and mirrors the mind losing lucidity. The final moments sound like a ticking clock buzzing with dread before it dissolves into a hauntingly beautiful finale of melodic piano and vocalizations. Wilbur Nova’s “Hypnagogia” doesn’t just move; it consumes you.
Delon – “Traces”
“Traces” drops you right into a late-night rave headspace without relying on aggressive cliched drops that’s often found in the EDM genre. As a prolific producer and key figure in the electronic music scene in France, Delon’s latest track from the album of the same name is the album opener.
Delon pairs the steady, linear house grooves with a repeating, clean and reflective piano melody which anchors the song. The production strikes a fine balance between club-ready and introspective. Liam Porter’s vocals are smooth, echoing the lyrical themes of temporary moments leaving permanent “Traces”.

The Wildboiz – “One More Night (Stay)”
On “One More Night (Stay)”, The Wildboiz, who are a DJ and an RJ duo, deliver a vibrant, high energy tribute to the late-80s eurodance and synthpop genres. The song layers analog sounding synth basslines with rolling rhythms that float naturally and evoke nostalgia.
This commitment to the vintage-era soundscape also extends to Jodie Joy’s vocals. There is a raw, unpolished and time-capsule-esque energy to her voice that might sound a bit unconventional to ears used to modern EDM. However, it captures the authenticity of the message. “One More Night (Stay)” has the vibe of early vinyl pressings that takes you straight to the disco.
