GOHAR – “Fairy”
GOHAR’s single “Fairy” is an immersive alternative pop single by Armenian singer-songwriter released in July 2026. Despite what the title might suggest, “Fairy” isn’t a whimsical fairytale track. Instead, GOHAR casts the central figure as a dark, protective archetype; the fairy gathers abandoned dreams and memories left behind just to survive. These themes are presented with heavy synth bass, folk hints with the singer’s classical vocal training, and modern beats. Self-produced over two months, the track balances lush, dreamy synths and fog-like ambient textures against a grounding, heavy synth-bass pulse.
French Inhaler – “PLASTIC OCEAN”
French Inhaler is a Chicago-based indie trio. “PLASTIC OCEAN” is their 80s-inspired synth-pop single released on July 15th, 2026. Released via Toe-Tapper Records, the track takes on contemporary anxieties such as the themes of environmental anxiety, digital overstimulation, as well as isolation and seclusion in modern times. French Inhaler manages to pull off a great act of balancing their theme with their music. They make music about modern burnout that feels genuinely energizing. The track explores these themes through its bouncing bassline, synthesizer, and jagged guitar. “PLASTIC OCEAN” builds its foundation on a driving, heavy bassline and layered, atmospheric synth textures reminiscent of New Order, The Cure, and Nation of Language.
D.O.S.E. sound – “someone”
D.O.S.E. sound’s “someone” is an Indie track, electro-pop with dreamy reverbs and a soft synth texture. It features soft synthesizer layers, spacious reverbs, and low-key, muffled percussion. The track relies on a slow-burning rhythm that feels both intimate and expansive. This track was released on June 10. 2026, exploring themes of melancholia, loneliness, heartbreak, self-reflection, and loneliness with lyrics such as “But I get distracted when I see your name in my call list” and “Lately, I’ve been wasted, waiting/Thinking, missing, wishing for something”. i give my friends flowers – “pollen”
‘i give my friends flowers’ is an atmospheric music project by Jacob Klein and collaborators, known for blending indie soul, lo-fi folk, and dream pop. Their lead single, “pollen,” released on July 17th, 2026, is the lead single on the EP A River Runs Through. The track explores healing, vulnerability, and the quick fixes as opposed to understanding real feelings. “pollen” captures a delicate sense of transition. True to its name, the song feels light, floating, and full of natural imagery. The track features electronic drums along with pianos and warm vocals. The second verse shifts toward the grueling internal choice to actually feel your emotions.
The New Citizen Kane – “metalLIC”
The New Citizen Kane’s Synth Pop/ Electronic released on July 3, 2026 “metalLIC”, is the opening track of their 4-part project Psychedelika Pt2. With lyrics like “The metallic shine of neon lights on streets” and “Captivate me always take me on a trip/Mind trip travelling through,” it explores themes of letting go of control, embracing emotional freedom over perfection, escapism, and freedom. This is the perfect song for those who listen to synth-wave, late-night electronic pop, and music made for driving through city lights. Instead of chasing rigid pop structures, it relies on heavy rhythms and glowing synthesizer textures. It feels cold and futuristic, yet it carries a deeply human heartbeat.
