Philco Fiction – Nordic dream-pop duo return with new single ‘Bodies’

After music press (quite rightly) went a touch giddy for their debut album ‘Take It Personal’ back in 2012, Philco Fiction toured Europe and China before settling back in Norway to record their new album. After signing to quality indie label ‘Killing Moon’ in the UK (Fickle Friends, Racing GlaciersMalpas) we are happy to share the first track with you, right now.

‘Bodies’ features Philco Fiction’s signature atmospheric all-engulfing sound – as we often expect from the Scandies these days – but it’s also the affecting delicacy of this tune that hits home. Singer Turid Alida’s haunting voice combined with intricate electronic arrangements leaves a pure fingerprint on our sullied souls.

“It’s ten past Saturday. Call my name – make me stay. I got time if you need to waste it with me. Don’t let my body walk away.”

As-yet-untitled album details to be announced later in the year. Bodies is out now.
