Bully and Soccer Mommy collaborate on dreamy’Lose You”

Bully (born Alicia Bognanno) returns with the fuzzy single “Lose You“, an electrifying track that transports you back to the golden era of ’90s alt-rock while still maintaining a contemporary edge. Written as a way to process the hardships of life on the road, the track highlights the power of introspection and personal growth.

The collaboration between Bognanno and Soccer Mommy (AKA Sophie Allison), who we previously featured in November, is a match made in heaven. With its driving guitars, infectious melody and shifting dynamics, the blend of Bognanno‘s intense vocals and Allison‘s melodic approach results in a perfect mix of their respective musical visions.

In a recent interview, Bognanno expressed her love for Allison‘s voice and revealed that “Lose You” was the first time she considered having another artist sing on a Bully song. The mutual appreciation between the two women meant the decision was a “no-brainer” in her words.

Equally, “Lose You” is a no-brainer for fans of either artist, as well as those missing the 90s heydays when guitars ruled the airwaves. We’re eagerly anticipating the release of Bully‘s upcoming album and can’t wait to see what other musical treasures they have in store for us!
