Zoe Konez—”Paragon (Instrumental)”
Zoe Konez’s “Paragon (Instrumental)” wraps the listener in a cozy, calm blanket, whose each thread is held together by the piano tune, which persists till the end of the track. And as the song builds, soothing guitar strums are woven into the composition; it feels like running through the infinite meadows in a golden hour sunset. This track has a cinematic feel to it and would be the perfect soundtrack for that moment in a film where everything finally comes together in perfect harmony. Zoe Konez makes a musical landscape with this masterfully constructed instrumental, which is a perfect, indelible moment in the listener’s brain.
Kindred Found — “Drowning”
Kindred Found is very well known for their genre-shifting through the emotional requirements of the ideas, and this track is the first in their album, Fractured Hearts. “Drowning” has a strong rhythmic progression, which pictures the late-night atmosphere where one is self-reflecting over a bottle of whiskey. Drawing influences from the 80s, this track focuses on realizing the implication of one’s actions and thus feeling like ‘caught in the tide of my own mistakes.’ The drums and the electric guitar give the song a depth and layers, as the vocals focus on molding the emotion of the listener. With a raw, hard voice, which goes well with the instrumentals behind it, the song perfectly captures the emotional essence of the mind pulling itself under.

Timeless Afternoon—”The Wind Sighs”
Guaranteed to leave you humming for hours, Timeless Afternoon delivered their new jazz-influenced psych rock track, “The Wind Sighs.” Along with the whole instrumentals perfectly aligning with the vocals of Kostas, the track is bringing back the Swing Era into our pockets. With the irresistible toe-tapping beats, Kostas navigates the bittersweet memories of lost love. In the middle, highlighting Harris Potsios’s stunning electric guitar, elevating the energy for the final verses. The track ends with the saxophone-and-drum duet, which is nothing less than breathtaking. A truly fantastic ensemble effort from the whole group.
Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends – “The Hag”
Propagating the theatrical energy of a fast-paced musical, “The Hag” brings a variety of properties of folk rock, psychedelic rock, and funk into its indie rock core. The main vocals, layered with the harmonic vocals, add immense depth to the track, with stunning drums and searing electric guitar. The lyrics of the song are translated from Swedish to English, and it was originally written by Swedish writer, poet, and composer Carl Jonas Love Almqvist in 1834. The narrative centers on an old lady who was wrongly accused as a witch by the people and burned at the stake. This track delivers a modern critique of patriarchal violence and its systemic grip on society.

Sean Tweedley—”Ooola Hooora”
“Ooola Hoora” unfolds like an uplifting morning anthem, where you are having a slow and happy beginning to the bright day. With the cheerful vocals, breezy guitar strumming, and the chorus adding to the whimsical lightheartedness, the melody feels like it’s carefree and intimate at the same time. This track blends a catchy, lo-fi indie rock sound with a vibrant pop influence. Even though the track sounds carefree, it actually explores the duality existing in an inner self, the animalistic and the gentle. It manages to balance the thought-provoking and the carefreeness all at once.
