MIR3 – “I Let You Go”
Complete with a vocalisation hook and steady drops and pulls, MIR3’s “I Let You Go” competes for your attention throughout.
Softened vocals, and scanty lyrics diverts all your attention to the broad arrangement. MIR3’s experimentations with vocal echoes and background harmonies plays to their advantage, giving the track an added flavour.
RobbaDucky – “The Echo Before Silence”
RobbaDucky’s “The Echo Before Silence” treads the pop-electronic rope line with an epic precision. Sweeping string arrangement, formulaic chord progression, simple lyrics, and an (almost) one-liner chorus all work in sync with the synthetic tones of the arrangement.
While most electro-pop tracks rely on momentum, RobbaDucky’s choice of the pace of this track is refreshing considering so few of them take the melancholic, borderline-sad route when engaging with typically fast-paced instruments. The lyricism and restrained vocals also do justice to the track’s sonic narrative that isn’t trying to be loud but is wanting to be heard.

Five Green Circle – “Worm Lip”
“Worm Lip” by Five Green Circle sounds like industrial machinery learning rhythm. The track is built on bass-heavy electrical zaps that feel ripped straight from a construction site, but arranged with an unsettling sense of precision. Beneath all that mechanical movement sits a quiet dread, like the entire structure could collapse at any second, though nothing openly signals it yet.
The lead melody feels as if a distant subwoofer was recorded from outside a building, then stretched, slowed, and warped into pitch-shifting pulses. Around it, the production becomes almost gamified, carrying the momentum of a chase sequence with a defined beginning, climax, and release. It feels tense, playful, and deeply ominous all at once. Such a charming listen!
