With the release of his first album in 6 years, José González introduces both Swedish and Spanish to the mix. So far all the singles that were chosen from ‘Local Valley‘ have shown that the Gothenburg based artist has not lost his touch.
The recent single “Head On” is no exception. Built on a dynamic and rhythmically hypnotic acoustic guitar pattern, the track builds and builds with González‘s trademark mantra-like vocals scattered in carefree fashion over the verses. The accompanying video, while showing the singer-songwriter in part, is truly about light patterns reflecting and their unexpected beauty.
