The unexpected collaboration between Khruangbin and Leon Bridges returns for a second instalment following last year’s ‘Texas Sun’ EP.
This latest set of songs is aptly titled ‘Texas Moon’ and pretty much follows up from where we last left them. Just like its predecessor, this album feels like an ode to their shared home of Texas. Musically, these songs seemingly take the best elements of both artists’ quite diverse repertoire putting them through the blender and sprinkling a long-lost western movie soundtrack on top for safe measures. The result is quite mesmerising.
